Jolly Roger Pale Ale
Ahhhh me hearties
It might not be all hands-on-deck when brewing but the crew will surely appear when it’s time to drink this hop driven Pale Ale. A touch darker than your average Pale Ale this beer pours a light amber colour with an off-white head. Aromas reminiscent of a pine forest and hints of citrus give that old school west coast pale ale vibe. Malt complexity compliments layers of hops and assertive bitterness, like a parrot on a pirate’s shoulder.

Julebryg Spiced Lager
A Danish Christmas tradition
The story goes that the first Julebryg (Christmas Brew), was made by Carlsminde Brewery in 1958. Vikings were known to brew a high-powered beer-like drink to get them through the dark winter months. The popularity of this seasonal beer prompted other breweries to follow. Over the years, this dark pilsner has become a clear sign that Christmas has arrived in Denmark. The annual launch, known as 'J-day', takes place the first Friday in November and is a day of celebration across Denmark. Brewery truck drivers deliver to bars and cafés while singing the traditional Christmas Brew song and handing out free beer to the guests to mark the start of the festive season. Dark-golden colour with a fresh aroma of caramel, cereal, liquorice and blackcurrant, Julebryg is a bottom-fermented wiener beer, the perfect companion to add some European spice to your Christmas celebrations!

Ale
Instructions:
Buy the Kremlin Russian Imperial Stout BrewPrint as a base. The base ABV is 9.5% and if bottling this and adding sugar/drops, you'll get another 0.5% which means 10%. Given each ingredient, Element or Enhancer, adds ~1%, add 2 to 4 of X5 Dextrose to increase desired ABV. To get 12%, go with 1x X1 and 1x E3 or E5. To get, 14%, then 1x X5, 1x X1, 1x E3 and 1x E5. You shouldn't taste the dextrose at all with all that flavour and by choosing more moderate more moderate flavours, you'll not end up with something that's too over the top in terms of flavour. I'd also stick with the suggested 9l of water and this will definitely be a brew that will overflow out the port in the lid, what many of us call, the "spew port".
